Exercise Watermark educates
Flood risk areas in Lincolnshire are better prepared to deal with major flooding after a national exercise earlier this year. A new independent report says Exercise Watermark helped communities feel better informed about what to do if the worst happened.
Some of the local exercises included the evacuation of coastal communities in Lincolnshire, live floodwater rescues by the RAF from rooftops and submerged vehicles, and a variety of flood awareness raising activities.
